About the event
Learn how America's music grew from the cradle of the state of Mississippi. Emily will discuss how Willie Dixon, a Vicksburg native, was a major architect in Mississippi's musical history, and how his influence over other Mississippians created a cultural revolution not just in the United States but overseas as well. Mississippi is home to many artifacts and gems found in the mud and clay, but none more impactful in the world than our talent.
